Community Organization
We are developing a special library of things to help you advance your mission with shared resources.
These are the most-needed resources we have identified for the Rockwood Community.
A lending library of shared tools, from power saws to screwdrivers to gardening, crafting, and masonry. This core project will provide access to a wide range of home improvement and hobby tools for enrichment and economic sovereignty within Rockwood.

A common space with table saws, routers, sanders and more for learning construction skills and building items for personal use or commercial sale. The Rockwood Common Woodshop will provide carpentry education and shared resources for neighbors of all ages.
We are reimagining the community garden as a shared space to produce free food for each other. Instead of small private plots of land with limited access, imagine an entire garden for collaborative planting and harvesting, where anyone can enjoy the restorative practice of working with nature, or stop in to harvest herbs and berries to feed their family.
Skill sharing is essential to stronger communities and neighborhood integrity. Please take our survey to tell us what you would like to learn and receive updates when your selections become available!
